This was my first attempt at plein air painting but I was probably a little aggressive in my size and scope. In any case I was unable to finish and had to leave the spot. When I again had time, I could not find my way back to that little bridge. The painting sat unfinished for about seven years until my wife and I were having dinner with friends from the area where I started the painting. I showed them the piece and my friend said he new exactly where it was. He later took me back to the spot where I took some photos and was able to finish the painting in my studio.
