“The "Haystacks" in the Loyalsock Creek of Sullivan County, PA, are a section of sandstone that is harder than the rest of the creek bed. The unusual erosion in this area created a beautiful and unique section of creek that is attractive to hikers, kayakers and swimmers. There are natural water slides, shoots and deep holes. When you need a warm up you pull yourself out on to the smooth rocks to sun yourself. It one of the many natural wonders to explore in Penn’s Woods.”
