“I’m an avid backyard bird watcher and in the winter the most prominent bird is the cardinal. The colder and nastier the weather the more they seem to show up at my birdfeeder. I love the color they add to the often-drab winter landscape and have enjoyed many hours watching them from the comfort of my home. I hope this painting brings the same joy to you that these birds bring to me on those dark winter days.”
